Board Meetings
Board meetings are currently held on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room (above the 8th floor of the Tower Building). Notices about meetings are sent via email and posted on bulletin boards in all buildings. Owners and residents are welcome to attend and participate in the meetings. Board of Directors
The Board of Directors at Carlyn Place has been elected by unit owners to manage the affairs and business of the Association on a voluntary basis.  The current Board members are:
President:  Jeanette Mendy
Vice President:  Paula Huff
Secretary:  Ian Nicholson
Member at Large:  Vacant
Treasurer:  Karen Hieb


There are 5 active committees that provide assistance to the Board of Directors.  The committees are:
  • Website Committee: Update and maintain the Carlyn Place web site.
  • Landscape Committee: Confer with community landscaper and provide recommendations for landscaping on Carlyn Place property.
  • Social Committee: Organize events for the Carlyn Place community throughout the year, from holiday parties to picnics. 
  • Design Committee: To consider new ideas to modernize and improve Carlyn Place common areas, with emphasis on the Garden Buildings. 
  • Budget Committee: Review the Carlyn Place budget and make recommendations to the Board of Directors on line items, annual assessments, and other budgetary matters.
Any resident interested in joining a committee may contact the Board via email or in person at any Board or committee meeting. Notices for committee meetings are posted on the web site and bulletin boards in all buildings.
