Board of Directors
The Board of Directors at Carlyn Place has been elected by unit owners to manage the affairs and business of the Association on a voluntary basis.  The current Board members are:
President:  Jeanette Mendy
Vice President:  Steve Sacks
Secretary:  John Lipold
Member at Large:  Kathleen Smith
Treasurer:  Karen Hieb
Board meetings are currently held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room (above the 8th floor of the Tower Building). Notices about meetings are sent via email and posted on bulletin boards in all buildings. Owners and residents are welcome to attend and participate in the meetings. There are 4 active committees that provide assistance to the Board of Directors.  The committees are:
  • Social Committee:  Plan and host events in the Carlyn Place community.
  • By-laws Committee:  Review current by-laws and draft suggestions for changes and/or updates to the Carlyn Place by-laws.
  • Web Site Committee:  Update and maintain the Carlyn Place web site.
  • Landscaping Committee:  Confer with community landscaper and provide recommendations for landscaping on Carlyn Place property.
Any resident interested in joining a committee may contact the Board via electronic message or in person at any Board or committee meeting.  Notices for committee meetings are posted on the web site and bulletin boards in all buildings.
